SENIOR ONLY SUNDAYS (55+)
Okay, settle in, grab your sensible shoes (or your sparkly ones, who are we to judge?), and let's talk about why your Sunday evenings desperately need a dose of fabulous vocal stylings – specifically, yours.
Let's be honest, Sundays after 55 can sometimes feel... well, they can feel like a Sunday. Maybe you've perfected the art of debating the evening news with the cat, or perhaps you're engaged in a thrilling staring contest with your knitting. But darling, your golden years deserve a golden microphone!
Introducing the only place you need to be on a Sunday from 6pm to 10pm: Seniors Only Karaoke at Note Worthy! Why should you grace us with your presence? Because it's time to unleash that inner diva (or crooner, rocker, country star... you get the picture). Forget the youngsters with their auto-tune and their confidence. This is a judgment-free zone where forgetting the second verse is simply adding a little "artistic improvisation," and hitting a questionable note is just showing you've got range.
Think of it: a room full of people who understand the subtle joys of an early start time, who remember the original versions of all the best songs, and who won't bat an eye if your dance moves involve more swaying than jumping. It's a place to connect, laugh, and maybe even discover that you actually can hit that high note in "I Will Survive" after all (or delightfully fail trying!). Plus, being done by 10pm means you're home in plenty of time for tea, your favourite late-night show, or simply appreciating the quiet before bed. It's the perfect blend of excitement and practicality. So, dust off those vocal cords, pick out your power ballad (or your jaunty folk tune), and join us. Your adoring (and understanding) crowd awaits.
"Age is just a number. It's totally irrelevant unless, of course, you happen to be a bottle of wine." — Joan Collins
So, let's make Sundays feel less like aging milk, and more like aging like that fabulous bottle of wine – improving with every year, especially when you get to uncork a little fun!
Frequently Asked Questions (Because We Know You Might Have Them):
- Q: Do I have to sing? I'm terrible!
- A: Absolutely not! Your primary job is to be a supportive, cheering audience member. Your secondary job is to enjoy the spectacle (and maybe chuckle good-naturedly). If you feel the urge to sing, fantastic! If not, enjoy the show.
- Q: What kind of songs are available?
- A: We've got a vast library! Everything from the classics you grew up with to newer hits (if you dare!). Chances are, if you recognize it, we've got it.
- Q: 6pm? Isn't that a bit early?
- A: It's perfectly timed! Dinner first, sing your heart out, and still be home before the streetlights truly take over. It's built for comfort and fun.
- Q: Can I attend if I am not yet 55?
- A: You can attend but unfortunately, singing is restricted to those that are 55+. That is why it is called Senior Only Karaoke.
- Q: Can I bring a friend?
- A: Please do! (As long as they are 55+). The more the merrier, and the more potential backup singers you have for those tricky choruses.
Join us at Note Worthy, every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 10pm (or later!), for Seniors Only Karaoke. Your golden voice awaits!
